About

Maven is a firm built by traders for traders

The people who run Maven spent years on institutional desks and years trading their own accounts. The firm exists because both experiences pointed at the same gap.

The story

Why Maven was founded

On an institutional desk a new trader is handed a balance, a risk limit and a reporting line, and nobody expects that trader to fund the position from personal savings. Away from the institutions the opposite is true: talented traders spend years trading accounts too small to matter, and the results are judged by people who never see the process behind them.

Maven closes that gap. The firm allocates capital the way a trading desk does, with a written risk framework, transparent reporting and a split that makes the relationship worth having for both sides. The first Maven evaluations were run with a small group of traders from a single community, and the rule set on this site is the fourth version of what that group helped to shape.

The mission

What Maven measures itself against

Success for Maven is not the number of evaluations sold. It is the number of traders who reach a second, third and tenth payout, because a firm that depends on failed evaluations has an interest in traders failing. Maven has deliberately built the opposite incentive.

  • Publish every rule in plain language and never apply a clause that is not published.
  • Show risk usage live, so a breach is a decision rather than a discovery.
  • Pay on a fixed cycle and refund the evaluation fee with the first payout on most programs.
  • Answer support requests with people on every trading day.
  • Grow allocations by a published formula rather than by discretion.

Values

Four principles behind every Maven decision

These are the tests the team applies before a rule, a price or a feature is published.

Clarity

If a rule needs a paragraph of explanation, it is the wrong rule. Every Maven parameter fits in one line.

Symmetry

The firm accepts the same transparency it asks from traders, which is why the rule sheet and the payout process are public.

Longevity

Maven prefers a trader who lasts three years to a trader who doubles an account in a month and disappears.

Community

Traders improve fastest with feedback, so the Maven community, journals and weekly reviews are part of the product.

The team

The people behind the Maven capital

A small team, each responsible for a part of the process you interact with.

Elias Hartmann

Founder and chief executive

Seventeen years on institutional currency desks in Frankfurt and London before founding Maven to fund independent traders.

Nadia Farouk

Head of risk

Built the Maven risk engine after a decade of managing exposure for a multi strategy fund in Dubai.

Tomas Reyes

Head of trader success

Leads the Maven mentoring program and the weekly review sessions for funded traders.

Hannah Brooks

Head of operations

Runs payouts, compliance and the Maven support desk across every time zone the firm serves.

Responsibility

Maven says the uncomfortable part out loud

Trading carries risk, most people who attempt it do not reach consistency, and no funding firm can change that. Maven does not promise income, does not publish invented profit screenshots and does not advertise a lifestyle. What the firm offers is capital, a clear framework and a fair split once you prove you can operate inside it.

If you are new to the markets, start with the smallest allocation, treat the fee as the cost of an honest test and use the Maven library before you use the leverage. If you already trade professionally, the conditions on the product page will tell you in two minutes whether Maven fits your method.

Questions and answers

Everything traders ask before joining Maven

Short answers to the questions our desk receives every day. If something is missing, the Maven support team replies on every trading day.

Maven is a proprietary trading firm that gives disciplined traders access to firm capital. You choose an evaluation size, trade it under clear risk parameters, and once the objectives are met the Maven team moves you to a funded account where you keep the larger share of the profit. There is no need to risk a large personal balance to trade large size.
Anyone of legal age in a jurisdiction that Maven serves can register. Beginners often start with the smallest evaluation to learn structure and routine, while experienced traders usually go straight to a larger allocation. Maven does not ask for a trading history, only that you follow the published rules.
Every new Maven account opens with a welcome bonus balance credited to your dashboard, and every funding top up adds a further ten percent to the amount you send. The bonus can be used towards evaluation fees and add ons, and the terms are shown in your dashboard before you confirm anything.
Maven accounts cover major and minor currency pairs, metals, indices, energies and leading crypto pairs. Trading runs on well known desktop, browser and mobile terminals, so your charts, templates and automated tools continue to work the way you are used to.
Funded Maven traders can request a payout on a fourteen day cycle, and the first cycle can be brought forward once the account is in profit and every rule has been respected. Requests are reviewed on business days and sent through bank transfer, card rails or digital assets, whichever you selected in your profile.
The Maven dashboard shows your daily and overall risk usage in real time, so limits are visible long before they become a problem. If a limit is reached the account is closed for review and you can restart with a fresh evaluation, often at a reduced fee for existing members.
No. The evaluation fee shown at checkout is the only mandatory payment, and it is refunded with your first payout on most Maven programs. Spreads and commissions are published in the product page, and Maven charges nothing for inactivity, withdrawals or dashboard access.
There is no time limit on the standard Maven evaluation. Most traders reach the profit objective in three to six weeks of consistent work, while others take longer and that is accepted. Maven rewards steady process over speed, because steady process is what survives a funded account.
